Your key messaging in safe hands

For many of our clients PR isn’t just about supporting the sales messages, it’s about making sure that they are seen as the experts in their field or that they are positioned as thought leaders, standard setters and advice givers. This kind of key messaging works harder, deeper and longer than quick win PR activity.

An example of this kind of PR is the site safety campaign that we run for all our Barratt and David Wilson Homes clients each July in the lead up to the school summer holidays.

Many children see a building site as a fun and exciting playground, which is certainly not the case and something our clients are keen to discourage. To aid this objective we work with our clients to organise site safety visits for children at primary schools close to active development sites.

As part of the visit the children are kitted out in protective clothing and head out on a tour of the site with the construction team, who make learning about the dangers of building sites fun and engaging for pupils.

A dozen pupils from Cotgrave Church of England Primary School were the latest to benefit from the initiative at a development in the Nottinghamshire village. The PR team will be working to push out many more of these stories over the coming weeks.
