Helping to broadcast our clients' work

The schools are off, the roads are quiet and even the sun has decided against coming out to play in the past few weeks, but it's still been an action-packed month at Unsworth Sugden.

The PR team was delighted to secure a number of hits for its clients with local broadcast media in recent weeks.

First up was Westleigh Developments, whose £15m regeneration project to build 119 new affordable homes on the site of a former Leicester shoe machinery factory saw a radio interview with managing director Chris Beighton broadcast on BBC Radio Leicester's Drive Time programme/. Westleigh's Robert Orr was later interviewed for BBC East Midlands Today for a piece that was featured on its breakfast bulletins.

Then it was the turn of client Bray and Bray to rule the airwaves, after it called for the will writing industry to be regulated in the light of a BBC Panorama investigation into the profession. Excellent coverage was secured on both BBC Radio Leicester and Harborough FM on the day of the documentary, with Bray and Bray's wills and probate specialist, Beccy O'Malley, then taking part in a live question and answer session on BBC Radio Leicester the following day.

Elsewhere, Unsworth Sugden has also recently designed two smart 'optional extra' brochures for client Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands. These will provide a great sales tool to the division's sales negotiators for selling optional extras when purchasers wish to upgrade their homes, offering everything from surround sound systems and home cinemas to American fridge freezers and conservatories. A similar brochure for client David Wilson Homes South Midlands is also currently in progress.

Our online division, US Digital has also experienced another busy month. Long-standing client the Earl Shilton Building Society has selected us for a new content management website plus additional digital work including e-newsletters, flash animations and website management.

House builder client Barratt Homes West Midlands has also given the go ahead on a new microsite for its exciting new development called The Lyng in West Bromwich.

Finally, Tiga Europe, the green wall and green roof specialists, has chosen US Digital to increase its online presence. Work includes a website revamp and a pay-per-click advertising campaign.
