The USG PR team worked closely alongside Forterra last October, as the building materials manufacturer went through a rebrand.
Formerly known as Hanson Building Products, the company changed names following a divestment by former owners HeidelbergCement.
Forterra developed a name and logo that captures what the company stands for. Forterra gives form (for-) to the earth (-terra) and the new logo was inspired by the shapes of Forterra products.
During the rebrand, our committed PR team worked with Forterra to help them get their new name out to the public.
This was achieved through various activities including inviting Sherwood MP, Mark Spencer to visit the Kirton site. Mr Spencer toured the plant, meeting with staff and handling some of the 85 million bricks that the facility produces per year.
