Safety first

February’s PR pic of the month comes once again from photographer Toby Savage.  It depicts Safety Bill, the new site safety mascot for client Barratt Homes.

Here’s Bill at Barratt’s Marston Park development in Marston Moretaine near Bedford with pupils from Church End Lower School. Toby captured some great shots, but all credit goes to the assistant site manager who pulled out all the stops to play the mascot character so brilliantly.

We hope to see more of Safety Bill (or Mr Housey as the children called him!) in the near future.

The PR pic of the month for March is by SGB Photography aka the brilliant Steve Baker.  It shows Barratt Group Chairman Bob Lawson and Mercia division MD, Andy Peters at the company’s new office opening in Solihull.

The PR team managed the event and Steve captured some really excellent pictures to support there press release.  We were pleased with the selection of formal shots and the more candid ones like this.

We are lucky to have worked with this client for many years and helped promote their previous office opening back in 2007.  We wish Merica the best of luck in their new office and look forward to continuing to support the company throughout their plans for growth over the next few years.

David Wilson North Midlands hosted a magical launch event at its Fernwood Village development in Newark this month. Homehunters were treated to a feast of jacket potatoes, popcorn and candy floss and were dazzeled by the fast hands of magician Trickster John.

Client Barratt Mercia has begun work at Bluebell today, a major regeneration project in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.  Some 800 new homes will be built over the next 10 to 12 years and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire were there to record events.
