This weekend marked the official opening of a flagship development from client, David Wilson Homes, and a huge sigh of relief from the PR team that our latest project came off exactly as planned.
The Sales Centre at De Vessey Village, in Greylees near Sleaford, was officially declared open with the unveiling of an exciting project that Unsworth Sugden had the pleasure of taking on.
The request from the client was for seven information boards, which would detail the history of the site this new development stands on with interesting wording and striking images.
With a basic brief and some useful resources supplied by the client, we sifted through a mountain of information to pick out what we thought visitors to De Vessey Village would find most interesting.
However, with just three weeks to bring everything together, including writing and gaining approval for the copy, sourcing images, designing the layout and ensuring the boards were produced and installed on time, we certainly had a challenge on our hands.
Cool, collected and ever the professionals, we made the project our priority and liaised with the client every step of the way to transform their simple sketched idea into a unique project with wow factor – and the feedback we’ve received from the client has proved we succeeded all of their expectations.
De Vessey Village is a historic site with a wealth of stories to tell, which is why David Wilson Homes was so keen to celebrate its past.
In fact, the site of the new development covers 110 years and with just seven information boards to produce, narrowing down over a century’s worth of stories was always going to be tough, but it’s one we’ve thoroughly enjoyed tackling.
We’re delighted to see the finished project proudly on display for all to see, but turning our clients’ dreams into a reality is really all in a day’s work here at Unsworth Sugden.
