With university fees on the increase, many people are deciding against applying for university choosing instead to get a job as soon as they leave school. In fact for many young people on-the-job training is now becoming the preferred route to climbing the career ladder.
A recently launched scheme from client and chartered accountants Newby Castleman is set to provide a golden opportunity for one lucky individual to take this next step, The firm is calling Year 12 pupils at schools across Leicester including Beauchamp College and Leicester Grammar to apply for a training contract and chance to work towards an AAT. The successful candidate will be informed of their acceptance before their final year of A Levels, giving them peace of mind that they have something to work towards and will not have to worry about the debts of university life.
